Operation Undergarment

September 2015 – Doug Eaves chose Operation Undergarment. “After our troops are injured in the Middle East and are being transported to field hospitals in Afghanistan or Regional Medical Center, Landstuhl, Germany, they can’t ask the pilot to swing by their barracks or tents for clean undergarments. Many times these garments are bloodied or cut off. Our government/military does not furnish them! Operation Undergarment helps make these brave soldiers’ hospital stay more comfortable and dignified.”

Operation Undergarment was established in 2004 by the wife of Missouri National Guardsman deployed in Iraq at the time. In 2005, Operation Undergarment was awarded the Conspicuous Service Medal from the State of Missouri and Governor Matt Blunt.
